Mission
At Pawtection Movement, our mission is to assist in the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of the animals in need through active volunteer and collaborations with local animal shelters, while also promoting responsible pet ownership and advocating for animal welfare. We are committed to providing compassionate care, a safe haven, and a second chance for animals who have been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated. By fulfilling our mission and goals, we strive to create a world where every animal is valued, protected, and cherished as a beloved member of the family. Our Services
Volunteer Support
We partner with local animal shelters where volunteers are assigned to each shelter to provide the animals with medical care, rehabilitation, and behavioral training to help them heal physically and emotionally, and to find loving and responsible homes for our rescued animals. Adoption
Our relationship with certain shelters in the East LA region offers weekly adoption events that include thorough screenings, education on pet care, and follow-up support to ensure a successful transition. We believe that education is key to preventing animal cruelty and homelessness.
Fundraising and Outreach
Create outreach programs through social media and campaigns to raise awareness about animal welfare issues, responsible pet ownership, spaying/neutering, and the importance of adoption. Establishing fundraisers through advertisement to raise funds for the local shelters to better support them in caring for the animals.
About Me
My profound passion for animals and wildlife has been a guiding force throughout my life, shaping my experiences and perspectives from my youth to the present day. Since childhood, I have found pleasure, joy, and purpose in the company of animals, whether domesticated or wild. This enduring fascination has not only influenced my personal interests but has also driven me to contribute my time and energy to care for and to guard the safety of the animals. From caring for pets to volunteering at shelters and rescues, my journey has been deeply intertwined with understanding, advocating for, and cherishing the diverse creatures that share our world. Inspired by this driving passion, I founded the Pawtection Movement, where my unwavering love and dedicated contributions for animals can be shared with and expanded through others who uphold similar values.
